Introducing the Keychron Q2 Max, a full metal QMK/VIA wireless customized mechanical keyboard with a 65% layout and support for 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and Type-C wired connections. Compact enough for any space. The built-in multiple layers of acoustic foams, combined with the double-gasket design, enable you to experience unparalleled keystrokes while giving a pleasant typing sound.

Experience peak gaming performance on the fly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection boasting a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the Q2 Max via Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices.

The entire metal body is crafted with 6063 aluminum that is processed through CNC machined, polished, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages to make this solid metal piece of art that is the Q2 Max.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ARM Cortex-M4 chip (MCU) equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box on 2.4 GHz and wired modes (90 Hz on Bluetooth mode), which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
Double-Gasket Design
The Double Gasket Design is a new innovative structure in the industry. In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the acoustic resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals.
KSA Double-Shot PBT Keycaps
To further fine-tune your typing experience, we designed our unique Keychron spherical-angle (KSA profile) double-shot keycap set with premium non-backlight shine through PBT material, that is oil-resistant and durable for long-term use.
Suitable for All Devices
Built with the Mac users' experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Q2 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

Hot-Swappable
Every detail matters for a personalized typing experience, that's why we give you the power. You can hot-swap every switch on the Q2 Max with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. You can customize your own typing experience in seconds.
South-Facing RGB
Comes with 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed, and different modes, or even remap these keys with QMK/VIA.
PCB Stabilizers
No detail is too insignificant when it comes to your fingertip feel. We've integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as the space bar, shift, enter, and delete keys. You can even customize your favorite stabilizers on your own.

Delivery
All our stock is held in local warehouses in New Zealand.
Layaway Depot will usually dispatch your goods within 7 - 21 business days of completing your Layby payments.
This time frame factors in the confirmation of the Layby order include your payment method, processing and dispatch from the warehouse and the transport of the items via couriers. The 'In Stock' status on our website can mean the stock is either in our warehouse, or available with our supplier.
Whilst we endeavour to get items delivered to you as soon as possible we do, however, need to allow that 7 - 21 business day window to accommodate the processes above.
Delivery tracking details will be emailed to the email address on the account as soon as they are known. Your goods must be delivered to the delivery address as shown on your initial order.
Deliveries require a signature on delivery and if no one is at the property to sign for the package a calling card will be left by the driver with details of how to arrange redelivery or collection.
If their are multiple items on your order, you may receive multiple deliveries shipped by multiple couriers since items may be sent from different warehouse locations.
Large/bulky items (eg furniture and whitegoods) may take longer to deliver and may also incur an additional freight fee. If an additional freight fee is expected for your order you will be contacted via email after the order has been successfully placed.

We guarantee your satisfaction with all Layaway Depot merchandise. If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect item(s), you may return the product(s) at no cost to you. Once we receive the item(s) and verify the return of product(s), we will send you a replacement or issue you a full refund, including shipping and handling.
Please choose carefully when ordering. Once you have ordered the item, you are committed to the purchase. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you are only entitled to a refund in the event of a major product failure - not if you simply change your mind or you later discover that you picked the wrong colour or the item doesn't fit.
You are entitled to a refund if the item you purchased is: not of acceptable quality, does not match the description, does not match the sample or demonstration model shown to you or for any other reason permitted under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
