Cancellations

You may cancel your lay-by agreement at any time before your Products are delivered to you.

Cancellation Charge

If you cancel, a Cancellation Charge of 15% of the purchase price of the Products, capped at $250 NZD, applies. The Cancellation Charge is deducted from any refund of the instalments you have paid, and will never be more than the instalments you have already paid.

No Cancellation Charge is payable if:

 
• we are in breach of the agreement; or
 
• we cancel the agreement — for example, if the Products become unavailable and no equivalent replacement or substitute is provided — in which case all instalments you have paid are refunded to you in full.

How to cancel

To cancel, email us at retentions@layawaydepot.co.nz and let us know you wish to terminate your agreement.

Refunds

All refunds are processed within 10 Business Days and returned to your original payment method (your bank account for direct debit, or the card used for credit or debit card payments), less any Cancellation Charge.
