- As with any treat, Peanut butter is only healthy in moderation.
- Check labels to ensure you avoid peanut butters with xylitol, a sugar substitute that is deadly to dogs, even in small amounts.
- Too much peanut butter can result in obesity and pancreatitis.
- If you dog has other food allergies, check with your vet before giving your dog peanut butter
- Peanut butters without sugar or added salt are best
