Encre Noire à l’Extrême plays on contrasts to express every facet of masculinity through powerful, seductive accords. The new fragrance is based on two outstanding qualities of vetiver, one from Haiti, the other from Java. To highlight the complex facets of these essences, a sparkling bergamot blends with the woody, aromatic freshness of cypress and smooth elemi. In the heart notes of Encre Noire à l’Extrême, this woody palette is enhanced by two of the noblest materials in perfumery. Precious, elegant iris wraps the vetiver accord. Spiritual, sensual incense lends its dusky depth and evocative power. A voluptuous dry-down of caressing sandalwood and velvety patchouli, made more addictive still with a lick of balsamic benzoin, prolongs this woody intensity. A sensuous trail made all the more unique and unforgettable that it stays masculine… in the extreme.
