Pentax 10x50 S Series SP WP Binoculars
The Pentax 10x50 S Series SP WP Binoculars are designed for both astronomical and terrestrial use in all weather and conditions.
The large oversized 50mm objective lenses in these giant binoculars are fully multicoated to reduce reflection and maximise light transmission through the entire optical path.
Manufactured with a traditional porro prism configuration these binoculars produce scenes with a rich depth of view for an immersive observation experience. The porro prism design also makes these binoculars comfortable to hold and easy to grip thanks to a large outer surface area.
The large objectives and lens coatings used in these S Series waterproof binoculars maximise the amount of light that will reach your eyes meaning that they have exceptional low-light capabilities. On top of that, the 10x magnification provides an immersive observation experience.
Complementing the optical performance are construction details made for out in the bush. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and to make them waterproof up to 1m in case you accidentally drop them. These binoculars also sport a generous 20mm eye relief and the fold-down eyecups seal against the ocular cavity to block stray peripheral light which can dim images and effect night adjusted vision.
