The 11-inch iPad Pro is the fastest small tablet Apple makes, and the display is the main reason to buy it: a tandem OLED panel that reaches 1600 nits on HDR content, with a refresh rate that scales from 10Hz up to 120Hz. It is aimed at illustrators, photo and video editors, and anyone running professional apps on a tablet rather than treating it as a second screen.
What you get
- Tandem OLED display, 1000 nits SDR and 1600 nits peak HDR, so blacks are actually black and HDR footage looks the way it was graded
- ProMotion from 10Hz to 120Hz, which makes pen strokes and scrolling feel immediate and drops the refresh down to save power when the screen is still
- Apple M5 chip with a 9-core CPU and 10-core GPU with ray tracing, so renders and video exports finish in a fraction of the time an older tablet takes
- Thunderbolt / USB 4 at 40Gb/s, so a full card of RAW photos offloads in minutes rather than an afternoon
- 256GB of storage plus fast external drive support for projects that outgrow it
- 0.21 inch thick and 444 g, so the extra power does not come with extra bulk
