Two years after the creation of his now classic women’s fragrance, Issey Miyake launched his distinctive men’s cologne, L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme. Reflecting the principles of his women’s scent, it embodies yin and yang, and the extreme polarities of the world. It’s fresh yet also a warm, woody scent accented with spicy notes.
Issey Miyake is a Japanese fashion designer, known for his technology-driven clothing designs, exhibitions and fragrances.
Fragrance Characteristics:
A complex fragrance, the composition includes Yuzu & Lemon citrus on the top with a wide range of scents adding intensity including blue lotus, nutmeg, woods, vetiver and water lily. A waterfall of freshness combined with natural elegance, this Issey Miyake perfume was created in 1994 by perfumer Jacques Cavallier. It’s great for daytime and Spring/Summer wear.
Fragrance Notes:
- Top – yuzu, bergamot, lemon and tarragon
- Middle – spicy and woody: nutmeg and water lily are an exciting and unexpected accord in this composition
- Base – intense woody scent which is sharp and enriched with tobacco,sandalwood, cedar, vetiver and musk
